2025 Blue Mountains World Kangaroo Day public event

The Public Event will run from 9:45am to 12:30pm,
and will contain slide presentations, talks, Q & A and panel discussions
that are focused on our amazing National icon and what we can do to ensure it's survival.

There are four sections in the Public event...

Section 1. 9:45am to 10:15am - WELCOME TO COUNTRY - Kangaroos and First Nation People (FNP)
...
Section 2. 10:15am to 11am - The magnificence of our national icon and some challenges facing their survival
...
Section 3. 11:15am to 12 noon - Local community groups working to protect local kangaroos
...
Section 4. 12 noon to 12:30pm - The essential work of Rescuers & Carers

This Event will be run in the Theatre of WFSA. (Note: PREBOOKING is recommended but not essential)

Entry is by donation to the Rescuers & Carers and Kangaroo Sanctuaries.
EFTPOS facilities will be available that day.

All costs will be paid by our Sponsors so that Rescuers & Carers and Kangaroo Sanctuaries will receive all money raised by this event.
