Fundraiser concert for Possumwood Wildlife

Celebrate our kangaroos in the beautiful Blue Mountains with a special afternoon of music, imagery and appreciation for Australia’s kangaroos and other native animals.

Blue Mountains World Kangaroo Day presents two Mountains favourites, Wombats Crossing and The Heathens, in a multimedia performance featuring beautiful music against a visual backdrop offering unique insights into the lives of one of Australia’s most treasured residents.

Special guests:
Dr Jacinta Tobin, Prof Steve Garlick and Deputy Mayor Cr Romola Hollywood.

Proceeds from the event will support Possumwood Wildlife, a self-funded facility helping severely injured and traumatised native animals recover.

Possumwood maintains a licensed veterinary hospital and recovery centre funded entirely by private donations. The facility treats approximately 400 to 500 injured, ill or orphaned native animals each year and also researches treatment protocols and the behaviour of these unique animals.
