The film was considered for the 2019 Academy awards.

“Kangaroo: A Love-Hate Story” is an investigative documentary that explores the complex relationship between Australians and their beloved kangaroos. This film delves deep into the controversial treatment of these iconic marsupials, revealing shocking truths that challenge our perceptions.

PLUS - A screening of the new short film, Bounding Through the Lens - a collection of 200 of the best photos from the World Kangaroo Day photo comp from over the years.

Event will be held after the Kangaroo Walk and Talk around 7pm.
